I’m really excited because the native plant seeds I planted and put outside for the winter are germinating! Even, amazingly enough, one that was supposed to take two springs to germinate, maple leafed viburnum (though the seedling could be an interloper). They are lupine, spotted cranesbill, butterfly weed, Culver’s root, and viburnum. I have one other, black elderberry, but I neglected to photograph it before I re-covered them with protective mesh wiring.
