Hey Westchester EverWalkers! May 1 is a Saturday and that means our next First Saturday EverWalk will be held next Saturday, 5/1 at 10 am! We’ll be walking on the Old Croton Aqueduct, starting in Hasting-on-Hudson, and heading north toward Dobbs Ferry. We’ll meet at the corner of Broadway and Main Street (near the Food Town Market) in Hastings-on Hudson. There is easy access to the trail from this spot, and it’s the same place we met at last month when we headed in the other direction. The market’s parking lot is for customers only; there is metered parking on the street and public lots nearby (bring quarters). This is an unpaved dirt trail, so choosing your footwear with this in mind will be helpful. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to cover many more sections of this historic trail in coming months.
