A few photos from my time in Little Falls, MN, this week. My mom got her hip replaced there and I was her designated visitor (COVID, you know). The town grew rapidly in the early 1900s after a dam was installed on the Mississippi River. All that power and a railroad to carry away the timber made it boom. Charles Lindbergh was from there. Today, the hospital seems to be the only show in town. This is the sad tale of many small, rural towns.
