Here is your green things in nature fact of the day. I am a huge bug nerd and there are many many MANY green insects out there. My hands down favorite among moths is the luna moth. These beautiful moths are a delightful shade of green with purple trim. I recently painted one on a pumpkin for a Greene County Parks & Trails program called Pumpkin Glow. (Fingers crossed, Covid won't cancel it again this year.) Participants will walk through the woods after dark with UV flashlights. #lunamoth #green #natureclub
