Here is your purple things in nature fact of the day. The pleasing fungus beetle is very aptly named. Its color DEFINITELY pleases a purple loving person like me. There are over 3,500 species of pleasing fungal beetles world wide. This one is found in Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Arizona, and New Mexico.
