I just finished WH and rather enjoyed it. I am now not sure if I actually read it before; my memory of the plot is so colored by the Laurence Olivier film version, and the book is so much more than that. In 2018, in honor of the 200th anniversary of Emily Bronte's birth, something called the Literary Hub assembled a number of writers' opinions of WH, which you can peruse here: https://lithub.com/wuthering-heights-is-a-virgins-story-and-other-opinions-of-brontes-classic/.
